Dr. Garrett Melick, DPM is the new associate of Reading Foot & Ankle Specialists. He completed his residency training at Cambridge Health Alliance, where he also served as a Clinical Fellow in Surgery at Harvard Medical School. As a former competitive runner and current powerlifting athlete, he is particularly interested in sports medicine and reconstructive surgery to allow patients achieve their physical goals. He also has tremendous interest in deformity correction and served on the surgical team for Operation Footprint’s treatment of crippling foot and ankle deformities in Honduras during residency training. Dr. Melick consistently attends courses for the most advanced foot and ankle techniques and actively participates in clinical research to advance the field of podiatric medicine and surgery.
When not treating patients, he also enjoys powerlifting, cheering on his alma mater Georgia Bulldogs football team, running, hiking, and cooking. He is very excited to join Reading Foot & Ankle Specialists and would be happy to help the community get back on their feet!
